Anti-Fungal Skin Infection

Jock itch

Jock itch is the anti-fungal infection that spread into groin area due to fungus. It looks like the ringworm type but it not the worm at all. It is the itchy rashes that mostly growing in the inner area. The main cause if jock itch is microorganisms and the environmental reason. It can pass very easily to other person.  The health professionals diagnose jock itch on how your skin looks. The major risk factor of jock itch are heat, tight clothing, tight shoes, untidy clothes, humidity, sweating. Itching and pain are common symptom of jock itch. A rash occurs on skin, buttocks and the skin folds. The centers of the skin have a red and or brown color. Jock itch is not a very serious problem. It can be treat very easily.  The main things that we need to keep in our mind are

•    Keep the skin dry and clean

•    Do not wear the other cloths.

•    Wear loose-fitting cloths, specially in summers

•    If you have a sweating problem then keep the area dry with the help of drying powder or the antifungal cream.

•    Don’t rub the irritate area.

•    Consult with health care provider.•    Wash athletic supporters frequently. Wash the rash with soap and apply the anti-fungal cream.

Herpes

Herpes is a blister containing viral infection. In Hindi it is known as “Erysipelas”. It infected both the oral area and as well as genital area. It is caused by the genital herpes. It is mainly two types

•    (Genital Herpes)

•     (Oral Herpes)

Both types of herpes infect the genital area and the anal area. The virus comes through the small cracks area, moist soft lining of the mouth, rectum, vagina, urethra. The virus then attack on the infected area in the body.  It can also pass very easily from one person to another person.  It can also infect to the pregnant women or the baby if she is having an outbreak at the time of giving birth.

Sign and Symptoms Herpes Simplex Virus type 1 (HSV 1)

a)    Fever.

b)    Small , painful blister filled with fluid around the mouth and lip/

c)    Sore throat

d)    Tingling or burning around the mouth or nose

e)    Swollen lymph nodes in neck

Herpes Simplex Virus type 2 (HSV 2)

a)    Fever

b)    Headache

c)    open sores on genitals

d)    Muscle aches

e)    Swollen lymph glands in the groin

f)    Small red blister

g)    Painful urination

h)    Tingling sensation in the genitalia, buttocks, and thighs

There is not any proper treatment for herpes but there are some prompt diagnoses and treatment can help to reduce the herpes.  Apply the ice pack or cubes on genital area. Avoid washing to often, put cold tea bags on the sores. Wear loose cloths. Drink extra fluid, such as water and soft drink. Dry the infected area.

Ringworm

Ringworm is caused by fungus. It also called as corporis. It spread as a worm once the fungus is established on the top layer of the skin. It starts as a red scaly patch and bump. It is very uncomfortable and itchy. Ringworm also affects the nails. It causes the very itchy rash. The skin of th palm of the hand or feet gets swelled.

Staph infection

Staph infection spread person to person and known as a minor skin problem. Staph infection caused by staphylococcus bacteria. It is commonly found in the face skin or in the nose. Most of the time staph infection is not creates any problem but it will effect deadly if invade deeper into your joints, bones, teeth, lungs, heart and bloodstream.  The symptoms of staph infection are spot, rashes, impetigo, abscesses and cellulites. You should take care from the toxic shock syndrome. This is not infection but occurred such as staphylococcal endocarditic. The symptoms:

•    High fever

•    Stiff neck

•    Headaches

Consult with doctor if you and your family member have the skin infection at same time.
